The 32nd Annual Meeting of European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) in Helsinki, Finland, finished and the participation of Microptic was successful. With a booth in exhibition hall, our company presented the new 6.2 version of Sperm Class Analyzer® CASA System that includes some new features like the new automatic analysis of vitality in brightfield with BrightVit kit at low magnification and the new automatic analysis for acrosome intact and acrosome reacted sperm with FluoAcro kit. These new products and others were presented with a new packaging.

Many more news were shown as the new USB 3.0 camera, that can capture at 200 fps and with a resolution of 1280×1024. It’s objective (60x) allows for doing morphological analysis and is able to detect the tail of sperm in human analysis. Other products presented were the tube warmer for 14 test tubes (type 14 ml round bottom) and the tube warmer for 7 test tubes at 45°.

One of the more spectacular innovations was the first flowcabinet designed to perform semen analysis, where the SCA is integrated inside the cabinet, with a build-in monitor and all the plugs to be easy to connect other devices to SCA. Moreover, the Class I cabinet has a heating plate integrated.

Dr. Hiva Alipour (DVM, PhD Stud., Scientific specialist) performed live analysis in hands-on sessions during the Congress with fresh sperm samples.

The ESHRE Annual Meeting has truly become an international forum for experts in the field from around the world.
